With the whole 8600 line-up out of the way it was about time we gave AMD a little attention as, soon enough, we will be seeing its DirectX 10 offer out the door. And while the R600-powered Radeon HD 2900XT has received attention the techy people at pcinlife.com have turned their attention on the upcoming Radeon HD 2600XT aka the RV630-bearing GeForce 8600GTS killer card. This attention has almost immediately materialized with a couple of pictures of the 2600XT and some salty tests.
First up, the photo shoot, although not the most professional we've even seen depicts AMD's card well enough.

Any comment is welcomed at this stage, with the card looking rather long with a pretty beefy but decent cooler and no 6-pin PCI-E power plug.
