Friends, My name is Sen, a Sri Lankan tamil from Jaffna. I have no links with LTTE or SLA. I lived in Jaffna until thea year 2000 and experianced the dificulties casued by SLA and LTTE. We are the current generation and most of us dont know where this conflict started and what the causes are. Sri Lanka was one of the best countires for many reasons in the world and everything has turned upside down. The claims from LTTE for the conflict are reasonable and currently both parties are not willing to negotiate to determine a solution for this conflict based on the initial causes. I would like to mention one of my personal experiances in Colombo. Many people may know about NIBM in Colombo and I had an interest to study there. I sat for an entry exam and upon passing that I was called in for an Interview. I wasnt selected in the interview and I was asked whether I want to study and work for LTTE. I personaly felt that I should join with LTTE and build our own empire.
Beside this, the brave ministers of Sri Lanka are good at press and comments. This is including the president who was interested in introducing a common currency for south asian region. what a nutter he is. Some of the ministers comment without sense and bearing in mind that all the people around them has no sense of humour. I think all of us have to check the BBC4 program.

Most of the singhalese people do not know a fact that the tamils in Central province and northern province have different values. Tamils in central province are brought to the country for work. All the singhala people should know that the ethnic of each tamil groups are different. the accent is different. culture is slightly different. food habbit is different.

Hope this helps a little.
