1000 th episode of the sinhala teledrama "Kopi Kadey" will be telecast on dis wednesday. first epesode of Kopi Kadey telecast in 1st of April in 1986 and diz is the longest ever teledrama in Asian Region as I know....Anyway Thumbs up for team kopi kadey for rejoice Sri Lankans more then 20 years.

kopi kade shud get sum award....i sumtimes wach it..gives a messege to the society unlike most other TV drmas...so it deserves a award..

diz the longest ever teledrama telecast 1000 epesodes without breaking in Asian Region. I'm not sure about da rest of the world. but a one weakness point i can see in diz drama is, theirs no deffrernce in characters from 1st epesode to 1000th, iznt it?:rolleyes:

Wow what a drama... That’s the one of few dramas that comes in to my mind when I think about my childhood. Really its cool and we should appreciate the ITN and the team who did the good job for such a long time. I know personally there are people who still live because of Kopi Kaday. Cuz acting in Kopikaday is their main income. They completed 1000 episodes. I hope they will go further and do 2000, 3000 ,4000 or 10000 episodes....

yup even i watched when i was lil... but now dont...... usually dun watch tv @ dat tym...not dat kopi kade is bad..lol
