Mammoth is a Swedish movie about the relations, to be more précised relations between parents and children. Leo (Gail Garcia Bernal) and his wife Ellen (Michelle Williams) are a busy New York couple with a seven year old daughter Jackie. Leo is a successful businessman owning a gaming website while Ellen is a dedicated emergency surgeon who often works at nights. Their daughter is taken care of by a Filipino Nanny Gloria. They all are busy in their own lives. Gloria has two sons who live in Philippines with their grandma. Ellen is worried about getting emotionally separated from Jackie due to lack of time.
