In celebration of Need of Speed's 10th year anniversary, EA announced today that it will be shipping a Need for Speed Most Wanted collector's edition in November, in conjunction with the launch of the game for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, PSP, Nintendo DS, GBA, PC and Mobile. The Xbox 360 version of the game will also ship as an Xbox 360 launch title.

Like Left 4 Dead, the sequel involves the aftermath of an apocalyptic pandemic. There has been an outbreak of a rabies-like pathogen that causes infected humans to behave like zombies. The four survivors have to fight their way through the hordes of infected, using safehouses along the way to rest and recover, in order to reach extraction points. Left 4 Dead 2 is set in the Southern United States, starting in Savannah, Georgia and ending in New Orleans, Louisiana. Left 4 Dead 2 introduces four new survivors, whose backstory will again be provided through dialogue. Unlike the first game where there was no significant story development, Left 4 Dead 2 will feature a story arc.

After climbing a skyscraper in Savannah to achieve rescue, the survivors find themselves abandoned by helicopters, and make their way to the local mall after hearing word of a second evacuation point there (?Dead Center?). The mall proves to be overrun, and the four use a stock car to bust out of the mall and travel towards New Orleans. Finding the highway completely blocked by wrecked vehicles, the four are forced to travel through a still-operating amusement park, and start a huge fireworks-and-lights show in order to attract the attention of a helicopter pilot (?Dark Carnival?).

Hitman: Blood Money is a stealth game developed by IO Interactive, published by Eidos Interactive and directed by Rasmus Højengaard. It is the fourth entry in the Hitman game series and was released on May 26 in Europe and on May 30 in the United States, 2006 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360 video game consoles, as well as PC. A Mobile Phone version under the same name was also released but with drastically different gameplay, graphics and overall style.The story follows the life of professional hitman, Agent 47, as narrated in cutscenes by a former director of the FBI to a journalist who is interviewing him at his home. The wheelchair-bound ex-director recounts how his agency tracked 47 over a two-year period. The tone of Blood Money, in complete contrast with the dark and depressing mood of the previous game, is operatic and often veers into the larger-than-life, recalling elements of the 'world-traveler' grandeur of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. The game marks 47's arrival into the United States of America, and also differs from the original three in that several contracts are carried out in civilian areas, as opposed to the "covert ops" settings of Codename 47, Silent Assassin, and Contracts missions. A sequel has recently been confirmed that it is in the works by Eidos Interactive.

In celebration of Need of Speed's 10th year anniversary, EA announced today that it will be shipping a Need for Speed Most Wanted collector's edition in November, in conjunction with the launch of the game for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, PSP, Nintendo DS, GBA, PC and Mobile. The Xbox 360 version of the game will also ship as an Xbox 360 launch title.
