I don't think you can overclock on that motherboard.

However, if someone's motherboard supports overclocking, it's better to overclock from the BIOS. :)

you can use clockgen... but the best way is to do it from BIOS as Anusha said...
but I dont know if your motherboard supports its machang.. Its an Intel so most probably no...
Never buy an Intel mobo if u want 2 OC... ;)

It doesn't. Only Intel's Intel 975X chipset based motherboards supports overclocking. Maybe 955 supports too.

Not necessarily. BadAxe and BadAxe2 are super overclockers.

yeah.. badaxe is the only intel mobo I have heard of OCing..

Intel D875PBZ also supports 4% overclocking
BadAxe2 allows to overclock much higher than BadAxe. IIRC, BadAxe was limited to maximum of 40% overclocking.

I overclocked my 2.8 pentium D to 3.0GHz using 'clockgen' today. :D :D :D ran the whole day without trouble... on stock cooling...

Use it at your own risk :D

Yeah I tried overclocking to 3.0Ghz with 854Mhz FSB and ran some benchmark tests... it proved that the the clocks have really gone up.... but i just did it for fun.. wont try it again :D :D :D

Try to avoid O/C ing.I mean as long as u have this Pentium D:D

Why not? How did you find the clock generator? I couldn't find the correct one for mine :(

I will try to overclock it as max as I can

That's exactly my problem too. I completely froze the PC last night experimenting with it. Now just froze the system, but the CPU fan started spinning fast and then it wouldn't even reset. When I hit the power button, it would try to start, but it resets. I was scared that I blew the CPU  Turned off from the UPS and then turned back on. Whew. It worked. I'm not gonna experiment with this without knowing the Phase Locked Loop clock generator.

I tried all the PLLs. Nothing matched :(
They have given PLLs for Gigabyte 965P-DQ6 and Asus P5B Deluxe, which are bother P965 based motherboards. Their PLLs are different. I think we have to find an exact match to do this.
