Number Ones is a DVD release to accompany Michael Jackson’s album of the same name. It is a greatest hits compilation and was released in 2003.
The DVD contains slightly different songs to the CD of the same name. Furthermore, many of the videos included are edited/shortened versions:
* “Bad” is the short version instead of the 18-minute long version;
* “The Way You Make Me Feel” is the shorter version;
* “Smooth Criminal” is the faster version that is on the credits of Moonwalker;
* “Black or White” is the shortened version with the panther sequence removed, and is also in stereo rather than the original Dolby Surround;
* “Earth Song” has been edited, removing all of the sound effects. The video is not truncated in any manner – it is original album version rather than the edit featured on the Number Ones disc.
* “Blood on the Dance Floor” is the original version featuring extra scenes;
* “You Rock My World” is the shorter music video version.
