When you download a torrent file you actually download a link to a file.
So you need a software like uTorrent to open that file and download the complete file.

once u hav a torrent file u will need a software as ehiranya has mentioned u will need torrent download software. I dnt knw abt “u torrent” but BitComet the new version s really fast and also it has built in download accelerator too. So once u have a torrent software installed on ur system all u need to do s jst drag n drop the torrent file on to the torrent software. U’ll get a dialog box with the details of the download. Just click on and that’s it. I’ll start downloading.
