Music Vids-Tracker Reviews

Music-Vids features mainly music videos, but it also has some live shows and music documentaries available. Nearly all uploaded content is uncompressed VOB or full DVD rips.

Rules:
Music-Vids has the same general rules as most private trackers. There is an automated warning system which warns users who's ratios slip below 0.4 after they have downloaded over 5GB. These warned users are no longer able to download torrents and they have 4 weeks to get their ratio back above 0.6. VIP+ and Donor classes are immune to the auto-warn system.

There are a number of User Classes at Music-Vids

Freeleech:
Every day or 2 there will be a "Golden Torrent" come along which is freeleech. These are decided upon by the staff and they are completely random. Getting on these torrents when they come along is the key to maintaining a healthy ratio at Music-Vids which would otherwise be very hard to seed at.
Forums:
The forums here are quite active considering the size of the member base. There are 2 lots of hidden forums for people who are able to move up the user classes.

Donations are accepted via PayPal and come with the following perks:

Invites:
Invites are currently handed out at the beginning of each month to VIP classes and above. Regular users rarely get invites unless it is a special occasion.

Reviewer Notes:
Music-Vids is a great tracker with a really good community. It's content is limited only to Music Videos, so if your not into them there is little point chasing an invite. Because invites only go out to VIP or above they are very hard to come by, your best be would be to search other trackers Power User forums, there are at least a couple of Community Rep giveaways floating around that I know of.
Even with the freeleech torrents seeding here can be quite hard without a good connection, at least as hard as places like What or Waffles. Uploading your own torrents would be the best bet if you can't build a good amount of buffer on the freeleech torrents.
