No machan I'm in Colombo. The CR is consist of some great players like Zulki, Pavitra, Sheriff n Anuranga..I guess itz not hard to beat Kandy unless Kandy Fans didnt behaved as roudiez. In da last year alzo CR was in the front until last 20 minutes, every one knows what happens and finaly CR team decided to quiet from da game. U have seen dat game guess wasnt it machan?.:cool:

Defenately machan, Specialy CR-Kandy game will be live telecast on ITN o SIRASA. the live telecast is not cool without Chandrasha's comentries isnt it.?:cool: . iin alst year ITN has telecast a game between St.Peters Vs Ananda with some sinhala comentries, it waz so rubish..:shocked:

I'm alzo agree wit u deffa, Itz not necessary to all Kandy fans to be consider as Roudeez. but da thing is Kandy fans must realised dis is just a game and rugby was intiated in Coloneal era like same as cricket. rugby is alzo a game of gentleman and spectators must be in same standard., I have read an article in Sunday Times couple of weeks ago which waz written by on of that large group of English tourists, came to watch the Sri Lanka Vs China at Longden Place. (I cant remember hez name).

The Basicaly he was trying to say is. He feels he is watching a game in England. :cool: Further he says he was knew about the enthusiasm for cricket but he didnt know how much Sri Lankan fans are keen in Rugby also like this. And he was much appreciated about the behavior of Sri Lankan fans. (Maybe he wz think SL fans alzo like as Tongans, Samoans or Fijians before).:yes: .

Rugby is also a game of Gentleman. Not like as soccer even though both two games are playing with wearing shorts.:cool:

come onn guys..why do you blame some of the Kandyans? gimme a break yaar.. why don't y'all start with school matches eh? every time and I mean it..every time when a team frm Kandy(skl team) goes to Col they get battered not only by the fans but also frm the players..It's like a wrestling match in the latter part of the game. and if by any chance the boys frm Kandy win they will start a fight then and there it self..

and pls don't deny it..coz I've seen it and experienced it many times.. let's take the Isipathana Vs St. Anthony's match way bak in 2003 where the Anthonians beat them and moved on to the Milo Trophy..u kno wat hapnd? all the players including all the Col fans started beating up the Kandy players and the crowd..when I say they started beating up the crowd I mean all of 'em.. dude they sent the whole team plus some of the staff members including the principal straight away to the hospital..how's that for the crowd's attitude haa?

then there was the match against Royal Vs Kingswood where all the Col crowd turned on the Kandyans.. and yo to tell ya truth we never do it when these friggin morons come to play wid us....not gonna happen u kno..

Most of the rugby fans are a young crowd..and when it comes to Kandyans they've witnessed everything that hapnd to them in their early skl life..So there's eventually hatred inside 'em and you can't blame them for it.

but again this is not about how it started ..the crowd should appreciate there performance and encourage the players rather than starting to chant bs and starting fights with 'em..but remember this..as long as that hatred is inside them it's gonna haunt the Col crowd forever..u just can't help it

Ohhhhh, machan we never ever said all of Kandy Fans are behaving as roudeez in rugby matches. Clam down machcan, actualy we are alzo proud about Kandy Fans who follows their team where evr they go. But da problem occurez when some situations n some peoplz.

Other thing is macha its not fair to judge all rugby fans in colombo by viewing an incident happened a game between Isipathana. because itz not such a big thing in game between Isipathana. I'M NEVER GONNA SAY ALL ISIPATHANA FANS ARE LIKE THUGS AT ALL.. Isipathana has made great sons for Sri Lanka Rugby like as Dilroy Fernando , Sajith Mallikarachchi, Anuranga Walpola etc .. but da som e of isipathana fans motivate others to do some wrost things. this kind of things are not started to heppens in recent past. Diz kind of incidents happened when since years ago.
But now the things have changed it seems. Because now they are not doing dos kindz of activities like as few years ago.:cool:
