And For Further I recommend you To Upgrade Your Browser to the Latest.Stop Using Old IE or FF..:)I have Seeing many who Doesn't Upgrade the Browser.A Upgraded Browser is Very much needed if You continue with Torrents.Bcoz Searching Torrents is easy with Tab Feature..:)

From Here on I'll teach You Tips For Settings For μtorrent for Effective Downloading.In Srilanka Most have Low Speed Connections.So Seeding is not Gonna Work.Therefore the Settings that I display here Stops Seeding After Downloading and also Decrease Seeding Speed When Downloading the Torrent.

Tick or Untick As Shown Below For Effective Settings

Here You can Associate with Magnet URIs or Install Ipv6/Teredo when Needed.
Note that this option works only on operating systems released after Windows XP with at least Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed.

These Settings Are Set for Easy Handle.And Add μtorrent To Quick Launch without adding a Shortcut in the Desktop.

Directories Can be selected as You wish.But no need of worrying about that option.

Here the Upload Speed is Set to Automatic.Or You can Give a Limit.But Better Set it to Automatic.

This option decides whether μtorrent Mainline should apply the rate limits to peers on the local network.
Peers are considered local if they are discovered by Local Peer Discovery, or if they are on the same LAN as the client.

The Important Setting is this.When You have Many Torrents You can Set them to Download Two by two or One by One till all end.And Only Downloading will be there.No Seeding.that helps for Downloading.After Downloading One it'll Automatically Stop that Torrent and Switch to the next one.To Set the Client to Download One After the Other give "1" for the Highlighted Box.This Setting is Effective if You have Selected A Good Torrent Only.Otherwise Downloading will waste time.

seed for music files, thats not a big deal, i was seeding over 200 torrents. new windows now:baffled: adding them 1 by 1 :dull:

change the global maximum number of connection to 20000
and maximum number of connection per torrent to 10000
set the upload slots to 10
keep the global maximum upload rate at 0
disable DHT
enable the scheduler

try and see :D

This messed up the speeds that I usually have too. I changed everything as you have shown. NO exemptions. I usually manage to download a healthy 800MB torrent within about 2 1/2 hours the latest. With your changes in place, the last torrent took close upon 3~4 hours.

Now I am trying to restore it to default. I cant do it. Even if I re-install the torrent software, the settings do not change

Well If u faced problems then Better Switch to what you had Before...
Fully Uninstall them...and reinstall..Edit Registry if the Settings Do not change..
