The 2006 Miss World Final will be held on Saturday 30th September live from Poland. It will be the most interactive Miss World ever. A combination of star judges and a world wide vote will decide who is crowned the 56th Miss World.

Rapthi was born and grew up in Colombo, Sri Lanka, a multiracial, multicultural country both scenic and beautiful, a tourist paradise. She has completed her education with a Diploma in airline ticketing and reservations, and is currently studying fashion design and working as a professional model, her ambition is to open her own Exclusive Dress Boutique. Rapthi enjoys travelling, listening to music, reading books, watching movies, athletics and synchronised swimming. Favourite food is Chinese and Sri Lankan.
