Tigers lost their last refugee in the East. Capturing Thoppigala is a monumental victory for the ant-terrorist peace lovers in Sri Lanka, but it has created some pain in the ass heart for few whistle blowers employed by Ranil the clan. Ranil himself expressed his stupidity and covetousness by saying, "capturing Thoppigala is only taking control of 700 square KM of dark forrest".

No argument that this government is screwing the economy. They have thousands of excuses to doing so, and war being just a one reason. As general citizens, we can be happy that this government is at least doing one thing better than the other governments who governed this country. They are doing the war honestly. And the opposition knows that, if government take an advantage over terrorists in the war, that would be a great political advantage in the next elections. So, they keep on adopting the same old opposition tactics used by Sri Lankan oppositions over last 60 years. Try and screw the government in power!

The defeat of Thoppigala is not only a defeat for the tigers. It's a defeat for the Peace merchants in Colombo. It's a defeat for the green-eyed opposition politicians who were licking their lips to condemn the military efforts of GOSL, if something went wrong. Now they don't have anything! So they'll just keep on blowing their old whistles.

I repeat. This government is corrupted and inefficient as much as the same level of any of the other government ruled this country. I don't have any urge to defend the stupidity of this government. I don't blow the whistles of this government. But, as an honest citizen of this country, I see that this government is having a true vision to destroy terrorism till the end. I don't want to spoil that. People who try to spoil that, are the ones who were benefited by this war for last 3 decades. They are scared that if the war comes to an end during the term of this government, their favorite political parties won't have any chance of winning an election for another 20 years. And they are afraid that, if the war comes to an end sooner, all their "peace projects" will be with no value, and they'll face a huge problem in getting donations from foreign INGO's.

Where there's no war, there's no market for peace merchants to sell their bullshit. With the Easter province falling away from tigers hands, the market for peaceniking in East has now collapsed. That's the truth! So the peace merchants will do their best, to retain this war for another decade.
