This is definitely a virus. there should be a "Autorun.inf" file in each of your partitions.
delete them (from Command Prompt) and boot the computer in safe mode and do a virus scan.

Try a virus guard first. If it fails, connect the hard to a computer with a good wirus guard and scan. formatting the hard is the last resort.

Delete the "Autorun.inf" files in the partition root. those files are the reason for not being able to open the partitions.

Open it - Go to "Optimize & Improve" Menu

Select "Complete Maintenance of your computer"

This will show you all the problems you have in your computer and it can correct almost all of them.

Give it a try anyway if you are going to format it.

Try to search for all '.inf' files in the partition root. there should be a script file linking to the virus. (so the virus runs every time you open a partition). try to find that script file and delete it.
