I had opportunity to discuss with many people around the world including Srilankans and non-sri lankans.
What they say is this is a mistake done by president to call an election even though he has another 2 more years to serve.
As all said he lead the country to defeat the terrorism by selecting correct people, so he’s a good leader. This has been said by an Indian person.
Another Malaysian person said now they can find sri lanka as a peaceful country and no more war news in their news papers. And what has been done by the president is quite good.
Few others said it’s a mistake if Sarath fonseka elected as president and the country might shake and will turn upside down. So the investors will rethink and will be wait until minimum 1 year to invest as to see how the new president lays his economic forums.
Those are just to keep you all update as its good to share.
