My Opinion :-
Not 100% but at most 99.9%. there's always bound to have some feelings of attraction/sexual attraction cos we are, obviously, opposite sexes. knowing a best friend that is opposite sex, will usually cause you to consider if that person is 'the one'.
whether or not you remain best friends with the person of opposite sex.. depends on if you make a move.. lol.. if you do, it could either become that you guys become a couple, or if you guys became normal friends, or remain as best friends.
