Your eyes are priceless... Protect them! Wear Protection - Use a screen filter to your CRT & use lower levels of brightness and contrast (not higher levels...) no matter if you have a LCD or a CRT...

Remember, prevention is better than cure.. :P:P:P

Well! Atleast start now! Most of d ppl do not pay their interest towards this!

Nother point lolZ! Don't look at ur monitor when the environment is dark... try to match the lighting....

N keep some distance from ur monitor!

He he!

Cheers!!!

Yeah! He he! ThnX 4 reminding lol! He he! Usually a refresh rate of atleast 75Hz is recommended and a resolution that won't cause you any strain when reading is also essential! I use 1152x864 @ 75Hz in my View Sonic E70 17"...

Cheers!!!

That's why I try to make the PC read for me. It's boring to read stuff on the computer screen when you have so many other cool things to do :D

Well! THat's cool! But can'r help with power point presentation lecture notes... always they have tables n figures... hmmm..... but after this filter thing...n lowering the brightness, I feel gr8! U knw! Modern monitors have some sort of an anti-glare coating or some thing so the requirement of a filter is not tht high! That's y i did not consider it as a solution, but i just thought to give it a go! n it's worth it! he he! Ur 19" LCD will not cause much pain to eyes except it has very high brightness n contrast levels....
