This guide provides four parts aims to show you how to rip DVD to MP4, AVI, MP3, WMV, WMA, FLV, MKV, MPG, RM, 3GP, etc that compatible with most of the players such as iPod, iPhone, PSP, Sansa, Archos, Zune, Walkman, Windows Movie Maker, etc, even uploading DVD movie to online video sites such as YouTube, Videojug, etc for both Window and Mac users by using DVD Ripper (http://www.aidownloading.com/aiseesoft-dvd-ripper.html) and Mac DVD Ripper (http://www.aidownloading.com/isky-dvd-ripper-for-mac.html).

Part 1: Why do you need a DVD Ripper and Mac DVD Ripper
The function of DVD Ripper and Mac DVD Ripper are identical, the only difference is the DVD Ripper for the Windows OS, but the Mac DVD Ripper is designed for Mac OS. Their functions are as follows:

Rip DVD to MP4, H.264, AVI, MP3, WMV, WMA, flv, MKV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, 3GP, 3GPP, VOB, DivX, Mov, RM, RMVB, M4A, AAC, WAV, etc.

Part 2: How to use DVD Ripper for Windows users

Make Preparations: Download and install the DVD rip software (http://www.aidownloading.com/download/as-dvd-ripper-276907.exe)
Stpe 1: Import DVD
Place the DVD into your DVD drive and click the "Load DVD" button to load DVD. This DVD Ripper can load three DVD source, you can load your DVD from DVD drive, DVD folder in your PC and also IFO file.
Step 2: Set output format
Select the output video format you want from the "Profile" drop-down list.
Stpe 3: Start conversion
Click the "Start" button to start your conversion and in a short while it will be finished.
Part 3: How to use Mac DVD Ripper for Mac OS users

Step 1: Launch DVD Ripper for Mac and add DVD Movie
Click the "Load DVD" button, and navigate to the DVD folder of the movie you want to add from your hard disc or DVD-ROM, open DVD folder, select VIDEO_TS folder and click OK.
Or, click the "Load IFO" button, find the DVD folder of the movie you want to add from your hard disc or DVD-ROM, open your DVD folder, open the VIDEO_TS folder, select all IFO files and click OK.
Step 2: Output Settings
Filename: Name the output file for the current title/chapter.
Subtitle: Regular DVD movies usually have several subtitles such as English, French, German, etc. You can select the one you prefer so that you can convert DVD with subtitle on Mac. You can also delete the subtitle by selecting 'No Subtitle'. Selecting Audio is the same.
Audio: Select an audio track from the available audio tracks of your DVD movie.
Select an output format: If you don't know much about video formats, you can select a format according to the name of your player. For example, you can select 'MOV-QuickTime (*.MOV)' when you want to rip DVD to QuickTime on Mac, and the default setting works great.
This DVD ripper for Mac can also rip DVD to MP4, AVI, M4V, 3GP, MPG, MPEG, FLV on Mac OS X and convert DVD from PAL to NTSC. You can select MOV or MP4 when you rip DVD to iMovie on Mac. iMovie supports MOV and MP4 video. It is easy to rip DVD to iMovie on Mac.
Step 3: Start Conversion
When output settings are done, click the "Convert" button to start converting your Movies. You can choose to shut down your computer or open the output folder after the conversion.

1. How to trim movie clips?
Step 1: Tick the Check boxes of the chapters or titles you want to trim, and click the "Trim" button to open the Trim window below:

Step 2: Drag the slider to set the starting time and ending time, click OK.
Note: You can preview the trimmed movie clip before conversion in preview window.
2. How to Crop movie clips?
Step 1: Check the chapter or title you want to crop, and click the "Crop" button to open the Crop window below:

Step 2: Select an output aspect ratio and the available options are: Keep Original, full screen, 16:9 and 4:3.
Note: You can enter the crop values manually or drag the rectangular selection frame round the video to select the displaying area.
3. How to merge several titles or chapters into one?

You'll find "Merge into one file" at the bottom of the program window, after you select the titles and chapters you want to rip and finish the output settings, you can tick the check box of "Merge into one file" to merge several titles or chapters into one. This allows you to merge all movie titles into one output file so that you can enjoy a long movie without breaks.
4. How to capture pictures (bmp, jpg) from movie?

Step 1: Go to "iSkysoft DVD Ripper" > "Preference" to set the image format (JPEG, BMP) and select output folder.
Step 2: After the files are added, preview the movie and click the "Snapshot" button to capture picture.
Step 3: You can click the "Snapshot Folder" button to view the captured pictures.
