Step 3. Editting DVD videos:
Step 3-a: Crop DVD videos
--Click “Edit” icon in the main interface and choose “Crop” function
--Method 1. select an output aspect ration directly from the Zoom list---original, full screen, 16:9 or 4:3. You can choose “Default” if you want to cancel the change.
--Method 2. directly drag the dash line to crop. Or you can type the values into the Crop menu: Top, Down, Left, Right. See fig. 3

Step 3-b: Adjust video effects
--Choose “Effect” function in the Video Edit interface
--Customize your DVD videos according to your need by adjusting Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, or applying Gray, Emboss or Film effect.
--You can even set horizontal or vertical turning if you want. See fig.4

Step 3-c: Trim DVD file
--Choose the clips or chapter of DVD that you would like to convert.
--Choose “Trim” functions in the Video Edit interface
--Set start/end time by clicking the up and down arrows. Remember to click “OK” to store your settings.
--Or you can just trim the video by clicking “[“ icon to set start time and “]” icon to set end time.
--Click the button next to the Play button to preview what you have trimmed.
--Click “OK” to finish your trimming task. See fig.5.

Step 3-d: Output Settings
--Click the down arrow next to to Profile field in the main interface and select the formats you want the dvd videos to be converted to.
--Click the folder icon next to the Output field in the main interface and select the output folder if you do not like the default one.
--Click “Setting” button and finish the advanced video and audio settings according to your need.
--If you want to remain the original state, you can just click “Default”. Remain default state is recommended. See fig. 6

Step 4. Start Conversion
--After finishing all the video settings, click “Start” button to start conversion.
--Select “Open output folder when conversion finished” if you want to view the converted video after conversion in the output folder.
--Select “Shutdown your PC when conversion finished” if you need to leave during the conversion. See fig.7

Step 5. Take Snapshot
--Click the camera icon in the main interface and take the snapshot of your favorite part of the video.
--Then click the Folder icon next to camera icon to open snapshot folder and preview the snapshot you’ve taken.
