Internet - it's simplest definition is a network of networks... Computers, servers, PDAs, etc... are connected to make it wide n popular...

People hardly identify internet as sort of a dangerous place... This is a very broad topic but I'm just gonna tell ya how this scenario will relate to you...

Take Hi5 for instance... It has a lot of your pictures and details... So someone who has some need may not have to worry but just search you and access with no hassle...

I remember once a man was arrested for taking school girls photographs and editing them as XXX photos... But for people like that - places like hi5 will be a treasure source....

Even someone can act as tht person knows you a lot, may be infront of your parents or friends - coz they can talk on what you have put on... say hi5....

So, when you use the internet, make sure to know who to trust and not... Take care not to give your personal details out...

And don't forget that still you can chat and kit with all your known mates - no worries, but using your pictures/details in sites where they are publicly available is not wise... In that point facebook is somewhat better than hi5.. - (Now I use neither...)

So.. use the internet, have fun, but remember, privacy is - Private... :P

It is if you go on uploading your photos and personal details. I know hi5 is there to socialize with online buddies. But you can do that even with a nickname and an cool avatar (not your face) with some funny details.

You will not be considered a lame guy, but it will be hip in the sense of internet culture. Beside you are safer :)
