Cop caught taking bribe!!

Oct 24, Colombo: Sri Lanka Bribery and Corruption Investigation Commission arrested a Police Constable of the Colombo Pettah police station today while he was receiving a Rs. 600 bribe from a private bus worker.

The cop was caught in the bribery net right inside the police station while taking the bribe for not implementing law against an accused.

The policeman is to be produced in the courts tomorrow, the Director of the Bribery and Corruption Commission Neville Guruge said.
