I hav 2 do a computer project 4 my london O/L .on computerizing a system
can somebody give me some tips
has anybody done it 4 O/L??

Well in APIIT we have analysed and documented some systems and we have suggested computerized systems. Well i think u can find a shop (a retail shop perhaps) which actually doesnt have a computerized system (or have one which is not effective) and u can suggest new improvements to that!

I was thinking of doing a system for a fake company .because then i dont get stressed by doing interviews and all..did ull do da system for london (cambridge)

Hmm... what about an application to a small shop. :)

Like... The cashier can generate bills, according to the goods sold the inventory of stocks will be updated... store manager will be notified by an auto generatd e-mail when the stocks go beyond the re-order level, Cashier can generate the customer invoice and print it with the use of the system.

Something like that..

no macho i did do com for O/L's but it will b good if u create a web site

The CD stocks will be managed according to the rent-out videos, manager will get an alert about overdue CDs and payments, system will generate a letter to those people who have overdue debts asking them to pay, manager can identify the most wanted movies which could be used by him for marketing purposes....

haha :D Cambridge Uses TurnItIn. You can't copy other's work..

hmmm... But still, if you do it by your own, you won't lose marks ne...

Because that software compares each and every line of your code. And the limit is 40%. That means you can have 40% of similar code lines machang.

If you go beyond that 40% mark, then you'll lose marks :yes:

Anyway you're doing O/Ls ryt? So you can't implement a whole new system for a whole new idea ne... Anyway you have to do something which has been done earlier. :)

Try to think more about it and add some innovative features machang.. e.g. Send e-mails to the customer database when a new release arrives the store (automatically), Allow the system to generate a draw to award the best customer a free movie once a month etc. ;)
