PHP Nuke installing

Guys,

u knw i've dedicated pc to download torrents and other files,i'm running Apache(xampp) on Win2k for testing purposes,recently i tried to install phpnuke ver.8 and it gives this error

Wht shd i do nw?(I used web based installer)

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in C:\xampp\htdocs\phpnuke\html\install\install2.php on line 131

i also tried to import the databse as a .sql file using phpmyadmin but it also fails ;-(

Well i am not much familiar with phpnuke or xampp. But are you sure php-nuke working on xampp with win2k? You are not using IIS right?

That error sounds like the script has exceeded the maximum execution time in php.ini but increasing that will not help as i guess. coz 60 seconds are more than enough for a normal installer script to start execute.

You mean as Web based installer, downloading and uploading phpnuke package to your server and executing it from the browser right? Not like directly running it on your webserver from script owners site without downloading or uploading anything your self?

I did it. but I experienced that joomla is better than nuke. try joomla.

in nuke You can import sql file by mysql migration toolkit
