I think age is catching up with Steve Bucknor.I think Aleem Dar is rising rapidly to become the best.He is relatively young and he is an asian as well.
And the most incompetent of the lot are Rudi Koertzen and Darrel Hair.Dont think many sri lankans would disagree !!!!!!!!

I thnk it's Kirtzen!He has an excellent eye as far as LBW descisions are concern!N I thnk it is d toughest desicion 2 b made,cuz u've 2 make a judgement in few splits of secs!

Aleem Dar would be my second choice..

But we could clearly see he was bit tensed out there yesterday.. think he'll be more seasoned with age!!

What you say is true about humans making errors.And Rudi is also very reluctant to refer decisions to the third umpire.(do u remember the way he gave Sidebottom out during the Eng Vs SL one day series?) to me, he just does not have the correct mindset.

well if u r saying he's jst little reluctant n have a hesitancy over choosing technology,tht cleary doesn't make him a bad umpire!Infact I thnk tht's d ultimate point which makes him d best!It's human who plays dis game n no matter wht d accuracy,desicions shud be made by a human!then only d liveness of d game is preserved!
