Serj hasn't left the band dude..Just takin a lil time off to pursue his other musical interests..in fact they all are..In the mean time he has also created an actvist organization called 'Axis of Justice' wid Audioslave's Morello..

So at the time being they all are involved wid other stuff than SOAD..but soon I hope they'll come back to produce another awesome album

But seriously.. I have been a SOAD fan for along time (not any more) from back in the days when I first heard "Steal this album".... Its the album that made me listen to Nu-Metal more & get in to bands like Tool, Disturbed & Otep... And I am still convinced that Serj Tankian is one of the most powerful vocalists in Metal let alone Nu..

So what are your guys commenst on Darren completely taking over the Lead Vocalists role sidelining Serj in the new albums ?

I think its just ridicules...U have one of the best vocalists in the world in your band & he gets barely a song..while Darren can get away with songs like Lost in Hollywood & stuff like that.. but can he even hold a candle to Serj's vocals ?

I think its a bloody waste of talent & Darren should be shot for doing this to SOAD.. :frown:

I am not a big tym SOAD fan.....I jst lyked their uniqueness..I 1st heard them in Ariels which was superb...Then I got hold of Toxicity... which ddnt impress me much...I follow the likes of LP n Hoobastank. So No big Idea about Darren n Serj on vocals.....

gotta agree wid ya on that mate..I too have been listening to SOAD right from the beginning but this side stepping business is kinda not so good I guess..meaning it's just a cover up to sort out probz between 'em..

Darren's been very active lately, yes..wonder why John n Shavo arent's stepping forward on the issues buhh from the looks they look like quite guyz..specially John..haven't seen him smilin..have ya??

been listening to a few live concerts lately..and the covers are bloody awesome mate..there's this small intro of "Sultans of Swing" by Dire Straits n "La Isla Bonita" by Madonna which are pretty funny man..The Black Sabbath cover "SnowBlind" is just crazy..

Anyhow let's just pray fa da best coz that's all we can do.
