There are many people out there who would give you the shortest way of climbing the ladder of site ranking. by using redirect codes and dummy pages and refresh codes can get you to the top but will it keep you there?
some times it does and most of the time it does not. i personally know a person who came within top 100 sites in Sri Lanka (82 - 83) with out even having a proper structure on the web page. by simply using a JavaScript refreshes ans redirect code.
Most of the companies and site do not have the proper means of marketing the product or service online with the limited resources available to them. purpose of this article is to give 5 simple steps you can take with the minimum effort to get your name out there. all
some of these points are given with the assumption that you already have a webpage or a site promoting your company
Have good content on the sites
mention your key word and the product between the lines and come up with the catch phrases which will be easy to remember. clear pictures and good design is also a must. you can clearly see this when you visit these sites and compare ....www.slbindex.com & www.udarata.com
Spend some money and make some friends
contact some of the best and new listing companies online.... some may actually will like to bring there prices down if you talk to them and ask for a specialized rate. www.slbindex.com recently offered a promo where they offered their 4500 package for 1000. when i contacted the site they still offered the same rate since i called. if you have friends who own web sites.... ask them to place a back link to your site on their web site and you can do the same for them also.....google is checking for this to see if these are only one sided links..
E Mails
if you have a email base...send them a news letter and promo materials. information on your products and services can be sent to them and don't do it frequently.. you may annoy the person. have a news letter and a subscription button on the site.
I Don't have a web site....
If you don't have the finances and the need to maintain your web site. you can make use of one of the best web site listing sites who are offering to host your company information for a small fee. web sites which are listed on the first 2 points are good place. www.srilankabusinessindex.com.... packages offered on this site have various packages according to your budget. like i said earlier you can contact them and get a discount on the price also (one time payment for the whole year). there are free listing sites on the net..they offer less features and do not have the proper professionalism on there sites out look...but since these are free you can join them also.... but remember free is not the best...

Best marketing of all times... word of mouth...its fee easy and you can come up with our own marketing talk. if you are selling or promoting a site, you have to mention it in your conversations, writing, emails to everyone. create the Hype....
