HRM - Human Resource Maagement
CIM - Chartered Institute of Marketing (So this is a Marketing qualification basically)
CIMA - Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
BA - Bachelor of Arts.
These are sort of different areas bung.. First decide your interest and where your potential is.... Then go for the qualification machang.
And for HRM, personally I know that there are very limited amount of jobs in the Sri Lankan job market at the moment machang.
Wanna become a Marketer, go for CIM. Wanna be a qualified accountant go for CIMA. Wanna control people ;) Go for HRM.
BA...... I'm not too sure about BA. You have to specialised in some area I guess. Ask from Chiraa or someone who's doing BAs. (Or did you mean Business Administration?)

errr....no clear idea yet.....! so wont cmment...
but i DO knw one thng dat HR is da head of everythng in da market sector...
as 4 an example...da marketing ppl....da production ppl....da labourers.......and all those ppl and sectores run under the eye of HR dicision! so it's a vast field and do have lots of high salaries. but as cz f dat same reason...getting into the HR field is kinda hard...not very...a lil bit hard...
cz da HR division is da main controll point of a companies human power! and without HUMAN POWER there wont be a company. so HR is a pretty gud and a very interesting(to u and ur pocket) field!
jz MY brief idea abt HR, as and hw i heard frm here and there.......cz i dont knw ch abt it......

But again.. [off the record] It is a shitty place to be...
But still.... in Sri Lanka it is the only place ne...
BusAdmin nam machang vast area ekak. Not that much of job opportunities because it is not a specific qualification for a particular area... It will be good if you wanna start your own organisation. Other than that no direct job relevancy. So if you do a bussAdmin thing, then you might need to do CIM or CIMA or HRM or whatever in order to distinguish between the others...

BusAdmin and Accounts goes together ne machang... So BA + CIMA is good as a combination.
BA + CIM ..... hmmm.. an interesting combination.. But is not bad... To control the company you have to have some marketing background these days... But BA + CIMA is a more relevant qualification I guess...

I'm sick of HR people, If they comes to a established company and once they start their work, company is doomed.
