hitler...idi amin....musharraf.....all previous generals....its a fundamental flaw letting a military service man try to run a country.....except for Churchill and a few others of same background....every other general ran their respective countries to the ground....

why did churchill etc succeed...where these generals failed....its abt resources...and mentality....

churchill had the honest american politicians backing him....right minded people who didn't work with hidden agendas but a single minded goal.....for even churchill was the front....those who guided him held the power...and options....

in countries like Pakistan...post world war Germany....etc...resources were limited....and people worked for their own good...resulting in the general in question growing paranoid....and lashing out.....military men...don't like insubordination....they are used to ppl following orders...not to questioning them....simple?.....nope...its deep rooted for them....:no:

simple science....once a mind is hot wired to make military decisions on the fly....it can never be rewired to run a country or manage its resources wisely.....especially with ppl working behind thier backs.....

point in case... Cesar.....Rome flourished under him.....when the senate was backing him....when the senate started second guessing him... Cesar went bananas......and so did Rome....so much so that Cesar was killed and replaced....:confused:

once a politician always a politician.....once a service man...always a service man....and a service man can't freaking run a country.... politicians do....in their own sick and twisted ways....if it works...don't fix it.....:P
