Downloading Good Quality Movie Torrents :: Guide
Since there have been lots of comments & discussions about movie Rips and cam copies of Torrent movies I decided to write this small guide-
OK..we all download Movie Torrents..but I'm sure almost all have at some point downloaded crappy camera copies when the torrents were named as DVDRips.. :baffled:
So here are a few Tips to help you Download the real thing
Always look for Scene Releases
Scene Movie Release Groups
The Scene is a term used to refer to a collection of communities of pirate networks that obtain and copy new movies often before their public release, and distribute them throughout the Internet.
These Groups maintain a standard for every Movie release, thereby giving us the highest possible quality Rip. Since there is huge competition among these groups, They do not release fakes, do not release movies under mislabel names, the movies are of the highest quality & if there are any errors it will be tagged 'Nuked' & will be re-released
OK..So where do I get these Scene Releases ?

Neatly Categorized. Just choose what the category u want your movie in (Ex- DVDRip, DVDScr, DVDR, ect.) and choose.

This torrent site has only Scene Releases. So all are genuine. Read the Tag carefuly when downloading the movie. (Ex- CAM, DVDScr, DVDRip, ect.)

Has the same layout as rlslog. Scenes Only.
Other Torrent Sites that have the genuine stuff ?
The no 1 site that had genuine stuff was demonoid.com. But unfortunately its closed now.. :(

This Torrent site is totaly dedicated for movies only. Have to Register, Registrations r open & free. The site is forum based. Categorised and best of all each movie has loads of user comments. No fakes..

This is the official site for aXXo and many other Release Groups. Again.. U Have to Register, Registrations r open & free. The site is forum based. Each movie category has its own release groups and an open section for user movie torrents postings. Lots of user comments and genuine stuff.
Always read Comments
Always ignored the simplest way to avoid disappointment of downloading fake, mislabeled torrents are to read user comments. Before downloading read comments of uses who have downloaded the movie before u. You'll always get good info about the quality, whether its a fake or not ,ect.
Unfortunately uses dont comment often.. so for the ones who like to download from public trackers www.torrentspy.com (http://www.torrentspy.com) & www.thepiratebay.org (http://www.thepiratebay.org) have a good user base who comments. So get your stuff from them
What R the Movie Formats to get
DVDRip
This is the first format u should look when downloading a movie. This is the Rip from the Original DVD so should be excellent quality. But as DVDs r released after the movie gets removed from theaters it will take about 2-3 months 4 a DVDRip to be released. Always in divX or xvid format.
DVD-SCREENER (DVDscr)
Same premise as a screener, but transferred off a DVD. Usually letterbox , but without the extras that a DVD retail would contain. If the ripper has skill, a DVDscr should be very good. Usually transferred to DivX/XviD.
R5
This is fairly new movie format. Basically the same as DVD Screener - this kind of release is legal DVD released in Russia to decrease the level of pirated movies in this country. External English audio is often used, as these are supplied with Russian sound by default. Excellent Quality rips.
