With some of my friends last week I went to see the Tamil film Billa. It was a fantastic, dazzling movie. I should also tell you the root of this Film.
It all started with Amitha pachan when he did his Don in 70s. Then the Tamil superstar Rajini Kanth acted in the Tamil version of the movie. As we know Sharuk remade the DON and now Kollywood (Tamil movie industry) took its chance to remake Billa in Tamil.
Unlike other movies, this movie gained high level of expectations from the audience. As the results the movie makers forced to make a high budget movie. Another reason why this movie has gained lots of attention was because; it’s a remake of the Superstar Rajinikanth’s film. Even in his 60s, he is dominating the Tamil movie industry.

His majestic look adding colours to his character and also other casts did their job well. Director Vishnuvardan has played a nice role in making the movie into a colorful movie.
Yuwan has given nice theme music and a nice song, especially the theme music is remarkable.
Story is bit different compare to the Don. Here Ajith is an international smuggler who is a priority target to Interpol. Here the smuggler dies when he was trapped by police. Then new pick pocket Ajith takes over the control of the gang and lead the whole gang into the trap of the Police.

If you have watched the Don, you may feel its bit boring to watch the movie again, but I can guarantee you that it’ll keep you alive throughout the movie with eye catching cinematography. Especially the stuns are exceeding the expectations. Ajith has taken special care in action and acted in many scenes. Car drifting, spinning, gliding and many more action scenes are done by Ajith himself. Entire movie shot in Malaysia.
Entire movie brings a nice movie experience.
