MSI’s NX8800GTS Series Graphics Card, based on Nvidia’s GeForce 8800GTS Series GPU was released around a week back, and now computer products manufacturer has announced that onboard graphics memory has been increased to 1024MB (1GB) This is great news for all gamers, as now you can get a High-definition gaming experience like never before.

The latest MSI NX8800GT 1GB Series adopt 8 sets of Qimonda high speed, double data rate, high bandwidth 1Gbit graphics memory chips. In addition, all these high-speed 1Gbit memory chips also compliant RoHS regulation strictly. Low voltage level design and support advanced “Auto Refresh” and “Power Down with Self Refresh” operations are the other added features. Over-clocking along with the ability to maintain power consumption is possible thanks to the green and ECO concept.

More texture resource can be read and written in real time thanks to the abundance of memory space for the GPU applied as frame buffer. And this is what makes gaming in extremely high-definition possible.

Vincent Lai, director of MSI’s Global Marketing Group said, “You can expect that there will be more high resolution flat-panel display devices hit the market in year 2008.” Lai added, “At that time, most graphics cards in the market will not bring the scene into full play at a reasonable frame rate. So, if you want a smart buy in year end, MSI NX8800GT 1GB Series is definitely your choice only.”

To render power users further opportunities on over-clocking and improved tweaking, MSI NX8800GT 1GB Series loads with a 2-Slot, 3 sets high efficient heat-pipes thermal solution. With this 2-Slot fan which can cover over 90% of the graphics PCB, not only GPU/memory but also other components onboard can be cooled at once, guaranteeing the best stability at any condition.

The all-new MSI NX8800GT 1GB card will be priced at Rs. 26,000/- in the Indian market.
