Sony Webbie HD cameras (http://www.iorgsoft.com/article/video/sony-webbie-hd-mp4-to-sony-vegas-converter/), including the MHS-CM1 and MHS-PM1, is an interesting addition to the growing roster of pocket-sized video cameras designed for shooting HD video primarily for YouTube and personal use.
The Webbie HD default encoding is H.264 MPEG-4 AVC and you can play fine on a Mac(including Snow Leopard), but cant be opened up in sony vegas which is very annoying indeed.
Sony Vegas is a great avi or dv, hdv, avchd editor. It is not really made to edit MP4 video type . You need to change mp4 to avi first if you want to edit them in Sony Vegas.
To convert Webbie HD mp4 into sony vegas, the freeware here i recommend is sony webbie to sony vegas converter.
