WATER.
Water is a true treasure,
To all living beings,
Right from the origin of life,
It has played a major role.
Earth contains a lot of water,
But not much we could use.
Only a tiny percentage exists
To assist us with our daily needs
Could we ever have lived a day,
Without water to quench our thirst?
No other drink could be compared,
To a life-giving drop of water.
Water is present everywhere,
As in seas, ponds and rivers.
Blood in animals, cells in plants,
All contain water for its unique feature.
Water is used to travel,
It can also generate hydropower.
The beauty of waterfall or a sea wave,
Brings an intense pleasure to one’s eye.
The under water world opens,
Adding more variety to Earth’s beauty.
Even at times of freezing temperature,
Water never fails to senseless and drowns.
Bound together in simple bonds,
Water is a very small molecule,
With four mates on either side,
Making hydrogen bonds to announce unity
Today in the 21st century,
Mother Nature’s best-ever creation,
Meets the competitive demands of its society
