World Wide Web and Internet are 2 different things!

Web is the way or technologies/protocols associated with creating an Internet, Internet is a network of networks!

So Tim Berners-Lee actually found the Web, later that technology was evolved into Internet!

Actually Tim Berners Lee invented the WWW. (World Wide Web) but not the Internet.

Internet was there from very old days. (ARPANET)

WWW is only a sevice given by the Internet other than VoIP, EDI etc.
