Data backup software? :S
Just copy the data to some other place and be done with it.
Else, give us more details about your requirements.

That's good for cloning partitions, but not so great for data backup IMO. Because you should anyway have to backup the data onto CDs or DVDs and one scratch on the disk can make all your data irretrievable (because it is one archived file instead of indivudual files). When backing up to CDs or DVDs, I think copying the files as they are is the wisest thing to do. (I'm not aware if TI or comparable software takes that into account...If they do, then OK I guess)
