hey hey hey ElaKiri staff, why don’t you guys let us know why you came up with this new site ha?? what were your intentions to create a new site for sri lankans??? i think lots of ppl would like to know about it :D

its really good thing to talk about.. but there are lot reason to build a site...

to be honest i never had a idea like this and Admin talk to me and we are good friends and im in to music stuffa and he used to Techinical side... one day he talk to me and said shall we start the biggest Site in Sri Lanka just like Yahoo.. but its not a copy from Yahoo...

and what i join this site coz there are lot reasons...

01. there are lot of Sri lankan sites but some sites are only in to one Artists.. its like we cant talk bad about that artist in that site.. if we tlak like that we gonna banned from the site.. its a crazy thing and all we have to say good in those artists...

02. and im a musician and i wanted to do the best to Sri Lankan artists and we are here to promote them .. but some artists seems they dont want it.. so but we have artists who need our help and we are here to do that..

these are some of my reasons to start this Site...

but remember one thing we gonna rock the Sites in Sri Lanka.. and we are the best..

Actually Lich is the one who really worked behind the scene. From the first day we talked about the plan, he was so exited and almost changed his whole lifestyle dedicating almost fully to ElaKiri. We all should respect him!
Previously we planned to start ElaKiri after I got ADSL, but since no one can predict on SLT, we thought of staring it even though I’m still on dialup.
There is another one of my friend who also running really low profile but has done really good job for ElaKiri too. He’ll appear in the forums very soon as he get some free time. He is one of the major backbones for ElaKiri too!
ElaKiri still on Beta2 we have some more betas coming up with huge feature additions and expanding the subject area. It’ll be not something fully dedicated to entertainment industry only, as an example in next betas we gonna have fully updating Rugby site for sri lanka. The existing racing site SriLankaRacing.com will be coming under ElaKiri to cover the motor sport area.
Those are only few examples, lot of things in our plans. As my buddy lich said we gonna rock sri lanka for sure. ;) :D
