Ryo Ishikawa, 18
He’s only 18 years old and already has seven Japan Tour wins under his belt. Last year, he became the youngest player ever to reach the top 50 in the World Golf Rankings. Most recently, he won the Crowns with a record-setting final round of 58. Although he has yet to win a tournament on American soil, it’s a safe bet he will eventually do so. And did we mention he’s only 18?

Rory McIlroy, 20
One of the most buzzed-about players on the Tour, McIlroy won his first tournament this year with a record-setting performance at Quail Hollow. The win vaulted the Northern Ireland native into the top 10 in the World Golf Rankings. He tied for third place at the 2009 PGA Championship and earned himself a spot on EA Sports’ “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11” video game — not bad for a guy who’s not old enough to order a pint in America.

Rickie Fowler, 21
After spending several weeks as the world’s No. 1 amateur golfer, the 21-year-old California native turned pro and inked impressive sponsorship deals with Titleist and Puma — the latter supplying his colorful on-course fashions.

Anthony Kim, 24
After turning pro in 2006, Anthony Kim has quickly established himself as a force on the PGA Tour. His first win came at the 2008 Wachovia Open. The former Oklahoma Sooner won the Houston Open in April and took third at the Masters.

Chris Wood, 22
Wood has made his professional mark at the British Open, where he finished tied for fifth as an amateur in 2008 and then third as a professional in 2009. The Bristol, England native was named the European Tour rookie of the year in 2009.
