As BCS crew we recomend BCS is better than BIT because after BCS you can apply for MSc. or MIT in University of Moratuwa or any other university the BCS recognized.

Bcs is good

Both are good machang. Coz BCS - British Computer Society is a professional qualification.

And BIT - Bachelor of IT is an academic qualification.

So both have 2 different pros.

If you could do BIT first then you get some exemptions to get the BCS membership. ++

both courses will provide u vast knowledge if u study hard ...

in sri lanka most of student in bit course they only study , and not even try it... or practice....

if u do not practice u have to give more effort to pass BCS because they ask lot of practice situations... thats why most hard workers in it field pass it without going Classes......

BCS is a society so any one can get a membership in BCS.

to get the membership you can do the exams which they conduct or if u have a degree and couple of years experience in the IT field u can get the membership.

therefore anyone have the BIT degree can get the BCS membership without doing thier exams.
