Need help with Windows XP copy/paste option

Hi guys,
im posting after a loooong time. And it to ask a favor from our EK IT tech's.
On one of my friends pc i was trying to copy paste, the problem is i'am able to copy or cut or at least those functions are visible. but when i try to paste the paste is disabled. I can't even drag & drop. Would anyone know how to over come this situ???

That's wat think too. but would there be a way around it. I cant jst format the hard drive coz i have to take a backup. But cant do that coz i cant copy.

dnt ask that macho.meke chaaater Virus gaurd ekak thienne. Anyway virus guard is nt blockin sys restore. if that wat your thinkin.

this is a virus problem. system restore dosnt work. dont try that. dats normal for this situation. do a clean format c:\ dats de only solution.....
