News spread across the nation that President Rajapakshe took a visit to the victims of yesterdays tiger attack in Kabithigollewa.
I'm touched. Media revealed this is the first time a Sri Lankan President paid a visit to an attacked area, after the incident. Well done Mr. President. We are proud to have a leader like you.
For decades we had presidents who flee the country, when the general public are in great danger. Yesterday, Mr. President took a brave decision to visit the victims, without even worrying of his own security.
Some one might say, this is just a publicity propaganda by the master politician.
But which politician (Sri Lankan) will risk his own life (Knowing that he is the prime target of the terrorists), just to earn publicity, or few more votes? Specially considering the fact that there's no election in near future.
He has to be a great human being to do so.
