I have seen, and others have seen too, many Buddha statues fully destroyed by the tsunami.

There are many other buildings also not destroyed.

Maybe, Gazaly's photo is one of them.

So, it is simple understanding. Destruction and extent of damage depend on how strong it is. There is nothing extraordinary about Buddha statues. :no:

There are hot water springs in Kinniya (Trinco) and in many parts of the world. I have seen one in another country with a temperature of 100 degrees C. where people come to full boil eggs. I also did it.

At the Dambulla temple, water falls drop by drop eternally, non-stop 24/7 from a stone.

All these are natural things. They have nothing to do with any religions.

I dont know about 1st and 2nd questions. But about third one, Miracles aint associated with core teachings of buddhism, although Lord buddha and other monks did some miracles. Actually those aint miracles, but some things that can be done by anyone by increasing mental power.
Eg- walking on the water , floating in da air:eek::eek:

And there is a good answer given by Lord buddha 2 those who seek miracles and 2 those who do miracles 2 gather followers.
Once Ananda thero and Lord Buddha were at a River, waiting till
a boat 2 come, 2 cross the river, then another clergyman came there and walked on the water and crossed the river. Ananda thero asked why dont you cross the river like that. Lord buddha replyed 2 cross the river by boat, it would cost only 5 kahawanu. Therefore the value of that miracle is only 5 kahawanu.

Follow da Dharma, you will be able 2 do some miracles too.

And do not ignore the buddhist concept about other living beings 2. If they exist, they can do what we cant do:eek::eek:
