Then go HARDWARE tab->Device manager
Go to Ports ->Communication Port(double click on it and Open)
Then
Go the Port Setting and make some changes:
On “Bits per second” change to 128000
And “Flow control” option change to Hardware
Apply and see the result.

This is only good to speed up dial up connection when you using serial 56k modem.

It won't do any thing to adsl broadband connection as they are USB, wireless or Ethernet connection

Ya..Its nice instructions..I tested my internet connection speed at http://www.ip-details.com/ .Its too low..And I increased my internet speed by following the tips,
1.) log on as Administrator.

2.) start - run - type gpedit.msc

3.) expand "local computer policy"

4.) then expand "administrative templates"

5.) then expand "network branch"

6.) Highlight the "QoS Packet Scheduler"

7.) on right window double click "limit reservable bandwidth"

8.) on setting tab check the "enabled"

9.) change "Bandwidth limit %" to 0
