Pls Help USB Problem!!

I Have 4 Usb ports and I was able to connect my USb mouse, Usb modem, Usb flash drive, and a Digital Camera to my Usb Port. But Now I am Not able to connect my Usb flash Drive & Digital Camera. I dont Know why. But I re installed my modem and mouse to the other 2 Usb Ports. They Worked. But my flash drive and camera didnt work.( i mean i connected the hardware to other Usb ports) when i connect my cam or flash drive computer says "Found New Hardware ...... Disk Drive ....... Your new hardware is installed and ready to use......" But "My Computer" does not shows a disk drive. ( it was drive G ) I thought it was a problem on windows XP & i already installed Windows XP again. What happen? Nothing happen It was the same as I mentioned above No Icon In "My Computer". pls Help Me to find My Drive.( Icon in "My Computer" ) i tried Device Manager also. The disk Drive Is There but i cannot take the data without the Icon On "My Computer" (you know) Please help Me! I need to Get My Icon Back to "My Computer" Please Help!!!!:confused:

May be the problem is with ur flash drive.Try plugging it into another computer and make sure its working.And sometimes windows will only recognise a particular device only if it is plugged to the usb port that you used at the time of installation of the drivers.

remve the ports from the Device Manager and then restart the Pc,it'll solve

go 2 microsoft and download Usb hotfix

check da usb cable that connected 2 mother board[if only ur com have 2 ready]

i had dis prob once...

goto disk management in computer management see whether ur flash drive is thr... if so assign a drive letter to the drive dis shld solve da prob

It could be a virus. It happened to me some time ago and it was coz of a virus. And even though i managed to get rid of the virus the problem still remained until i reinstalled my OS:(

Right click My Computer and click on Manage. Under storage, select disk management. Select the drive or a partition, right click on it and click on "Change Drive Letter and Paths...". You can add, remove or change the drive letter there. Removing the drive letter will NOT delete your files.

Uninstall the drive from device manager while the camera is plugged in. Then ask Windows to redetect the hardware. Might worth a shot.

remove/uninstall all drivers relating to ya camera via the Device Manager and re-install as given in the camera manual.. certain models o electronicz have a specific way o installation.. just give it a try nevertheless..
