JVP MP Nandana Gunatilake is holding talks with the breakaway Wimal Weerawansa faction with the intention of joining it, report said.
A few days ago, Nandana Gunatilake told the media that he was closely following the actions of the dissident group.
He had expressed readiness to discuss if they are planning to unite the people for a freedom struggle and follow the original political concepts of the JVP.
