I thought of bringing down a short description. So here it is.

Intel will official announce its 4-series chipsets at Computex 2008 (June 3-7, 2008). First Intel 4-series P45 and P43 motherboards will start shipping shortly afterwards.
There will be four more 4-series chipsets that will ship two to three weeks after P45 and P43 series, due to hardware problems.
During that time Intel will work on the G45 and G43 IGP versions to correct issues with VC1 hardware decoding and to increase the graphics core frequency to 800MHz.

Enterprise-based Q45 and Q43 chipsets are also set to undergo some changes because of system stability issues found in the current B2 versions when virtualization technology for directed I/O (Intel VT-d) is active.

Nevertheless-as always-mobo makers and OEMs have started to showoff their fancy 4 series mobos. As usual ASUS and/or MSI jumped the queve first :D
Here are some details and pics of them collected around the net.

MSI P45 Diamond motherboard (Intel P45)

This early ES sample features large heatpipe chipset cooling that can be transformed into water block if needed. On-board power, reset and clear CMOS buttons are also included. A clear CMOS button is also presented on the back of the motherboard. Gigabyte EP45 Extreme
Intel P45 motherboard from GIGABYTE is also joining on our front page today with the EP45 Extreme model. The board comes with some new cooling that GIGABYTE calls Hybrid Silent Pipe. It expeditiously removes the heat from the PWM, northbridge and southbridge area and also allows for optional watercooling to be installed. The rest of the fancy stuff involve Dynamic Power LED indicator with dynamic 6-Gear switching, diagnostic DEBUG LEDs, on-board power, reset, clear CMOS buttons, and something new called ACPI LED. It helps monitor the different system states S0, S1, S3, S4/S5 with leds on board http://www.techpowerup.com/img/08-05-08/EP45X_1.jpg
