ado this is da TV channel started by da government during the east election for da eastern province only. i think now they are planning to expand to other areas too so they must be testing it.

The newest television channel Udayam TV operated by Rupavahini has gone on air targeting the Northern & Eastern provinces.

The channel is supposed to create awareness on the security and development activities carried out by the government.

Many are of the view that this channel along with Vasantham FM was launched to promote government propaganda targeting the Eastern provincial council elections.
