Anyone Know How To Open A .tga file

hey Guys Anyone Know How To Open A .tga file or a Programm to open a .tga file. I got some screen shots of NFS Underground 2 and they are in tga format. i cannot open them in windows picture and fax viewer. Please let Me know If there Is A program to open tga files or a program to convert tga files into other picture formats. Thaks!

no idea about tga

You should be able to open it with ACD See. and Paint too. If you can't, thats not a TGA. Might be a virus. Open the file with Notepad and see whether the letters MZ are there in the start of the file. If there is, its an executable file. DELETE it.

I believe you can only open it in Paint when you have the necessary picture codec installed. In this case, when ACDSee is installed, the codec is installed and Paint will use it to open the tga file.
