Yes, we should realize the capability we have to realize Dhamma.

How fortunate we are to be born as humans; as Sri Lankans; as "Buddhists"? (note: one need not be a Buddhist by birth) at a time of rival like this. We would have missed this chance if we were born 100 years ago... and we might miss it if we are born 100 years later...

Let's try to follow the Path as much as possible...
Let's try to see through the myths we Sri Lankans believe in; and start thinking in line with Dhamma...

Yes... :) Aim of even a lay disciple should be trying to understand to his/her capability the Patichchasamuppada (Dependent origination) that keeps on making all this seemingly unending (succession of) suffering - the samsara. And a person is Sothapanna when he realize there's a Truth in it (beyond any doubts) - i.e. "niseka bavata path vima"...

At the same time I'd rather not use the phrase "samsara chakraya" in place of "samsara"...
