Guys I need the following information to Configure my router :confused:

Protocol: -?

VCI value -?
Modulation - ( Auto-sense or G.DMT or T1.413 )
Encapsulation - (LLC/SNAP or VCMUX)
Authentication - (CHAP or PAP)

i think you have put Modem details.. anyway.. the one who showing picture is just like my Router. and my one is the same thing..

That's weird. AFAIK it's the same settings for both a router and a modem. Maybe they have changed it in the last month or so. 1.5 months ago it was the same for both. I know this because I was in the ADSL maintenance section at Ratmalana SLT.

They may not be giving connections because there was a strike on Friday. Hopefully it will be settled soon.

SLT will call u and inform u wen dey give the connection..

if ur nt sure of the settins call slt customer care.. dey will giv the information


by e way hw much was the modem

if ur nt sure of the settins call slt customer care.. dey will giv the information

by e way hw much was the modem

SLT help desk isn't much friendlier these days coz of the strike.Too dont call to the helpline if not you have no work for about 2-3 hours.And sometimes they fool around ya.I dont know about ur range @ my school when the routers powersupply get burnt they say its a network fault.:lol:To fix it they said they'll come in the afternoon.But that afternoon was so long that it took about 50 hours:angry:

They shouldn't have bought the router from SLT. :rolleyes:

The way the router config page presents them could be different, but in the end, they have to be the same settings.
