Do you know how to configure conexant modem in suse platform? I have linuxant driver and hsfpatch. But when I'm going to compile my driver I got msg 'No kernel module available'. What can I do?

try UbuDSL :D its for ubuntu some times it may support linux core :D

do you have installed kernel sources?

if you are using internal modem most of the Linux editions are not supporting!
but if u r using external modem it can be. but not sure because as the opensource softwares have no rights to provide the drivers and other utilities with the OS.:)

Ubunto drivers may work if you are lucky enough but not 100% sure!

hmmm. .. nop bro. . . sorry. . . I use ubuntu 8.04LTS and mandriva 2007.1 powerpack. . . also no need to install my ADSL router. . .:(

You need the kernel headers package installed to compile drivers so make sure you got the kernel headers installed first.

I got the answer for my trouble. It was wrong path set by the compiler for find the kernel sources. Now I'm working with my conexant modem with 56Kbps speed. Thankfor your help.:)
